i have a Peruvian guinea pig.

i am a first time owner for this breed and i was just wondering if i should bath him, and if so how regularly? and also i was wondering if i should trim his hair at all? please help me. also are these a rare breed to have? and one more thing are they mean, or easy to play with?

All long haired pigs should have a hair trim now and then, but its more important that you groom him regularly.

Piggies dont need to be bathed more than every 3 months regardless of the breed.

The breed of a pig doesnt make difference as to how they behave so there is no reason to believe your pig will be mean. Handle him regularly and you will soon be great friends.
