i just adopted a guinea pig and he seems to have a black color on the pads of his feet, he has a small amount on his 2 back paws but a larger amount on his front left paw, is this anything serious? or could it just be the color on his feet pads??

Hello Lauren,

If the skin looks healthy it's just the coloring of his feet. The dark spots are just dark skin and if hair grew there it would be black (or another dark color). The pink spots on his feet are just places where the hair would have been white (or another light color. If his feet were brown then the hair color in those places would be red (or another redish color) if hair grew on his feet. Hope this has helped.
