Answer
Well first of all Matthew I'm not sure why you think you shouldn't have pine as bedding. There is nothing wrong with pine shavings at all.  The milky fluid in the eye is caused by stress. It can be any kind of stress. And it could be sign of impending illness.

The general rule of thumb is whether or not your pig is eating and drinking. If she is then she is okay. When guinea pigs are sick they stop eating and won't drink. If you're really sensing something is just not quite right then a trip to the vet would be a good idea. She may be just reacting to the aspen shavings. If that's the case then go back to the bedding you were using before. But I think in this case you probably should have her examined by a vet.
