cutting my guinea pigs nails

hi I have two guinea pigs and i have trouble cutting my old one's nail. I had tried to cut the tip and she will cry. I tried many time but failed and her nails are getting long O.O. and they want eat dry food only fruits please help me

Hi Alex

Try playing with the guinea pig before hand and then try if you have trouble in doing so you may have to got to the vet or Pet shop or some other experienced worker
And with the food crisis
She has to eat dry food such as pellets try putting in a few pellets with some fruit in her bowl
then gradually try to introduce more pellets than fruit
And that should work
