Fighting young male guinea pigs

Question
hi about two months ago i got 3 male young boar brothers from a local breeder. They had been fine together but recently they have started to show aggression towardds one another and we just came back from vacation and one of the had been cut and obviously hurt. But they also escaped and where luckily caught but could he have caught him self on the chicken wire or has been involved in a fight. what should i do? should i seperate him from his two brothers???
please help as it would be a shame to seperate them.
p.s we have just seen a vet and been given antibiotics to help. Thanks Lulu

Answer
Hi Lulu

Its more likely that he has been injured by one of the other pigs. If that is the case, you do sadly have no option but to separate him as he will get bullied badly.

Hopefully the two others will live together, but in my experience, its very difficult to get more than 2 males to live peacefully together.

I am sorry my news for you isnt better.
