GUINEA PIGS! HELP PLEASE!!!

My neighbor told me that guinea pigs can die of depression if they dont have a friend I just got my guinea pig and I really dont want it to be depressed do you know if this is true?

your neighbor should have explained it better to you that while it's true that any animal can die of depression. If you play with your guinea pig and give them plenty of stuff to do then I wouldn't worry. Guinea pigs don't have to have a friend but they do a lot better with your a guinea pig friend. :) They do better with another. :)
