I really want to get a guinea pig. I want to know if a guinea pig has babies, will it's behavior change? If it has babies will there be any health problems? And can it have babies if there is no males at the house?

No, if you get a female and it isnt pregnant when you get her then she would need to mate with a male to have babies.

Sadly, there is a high mortality rate with piggy babies and generally I advise not to breed for this reason and the number of unwanted piggies out there.

A pregnant female will be more tetchy during pregnancy.
