Cage size

I am building a c&c cage (www.cavycages.com) and was wondering if a 28"x28" cage would be good for a single pig? Would 28"x28" be good for a breeding pair?(the male gets removed after five weeks). Are these cages safe for a guinea pig with babys?

I recommend a 2x3 for single and paired cavies. I do not support breeding, why are you breeding anyway? Do you know the background of your cavies for at least 4-5 generations?
If not, you could have some big problems.
