New Borns& pine and ceder bedding

Hey i have two guinea pigs one one which just give birth.Surpisedto us went to clean pen this morning and there were three new babies.How to i care for them?Second question i have heard pine and ceder bedding is not good for guinea pigs Other then newspaper what can i use?

Pine and cedar bedding cause breathing problems and itchy skin, it can cause breathing problems with people too. News apper is fine but needs to be changed daily, you can use yesteredays news pelleted cat litter or pelleted wood cat litter. Just be sure that lots of food is avaible and that you take teh babys away at four weeks be sure the males have there own cage the females can stay with there mother.
