White discharge from a guineapigs eye.

 Hi.  My guineapig has a milky white disharge coming from his eye.  It is his left eye only.  He gets it only when he washes his face.What is it and what should I do?

Hello, a milky white discharge from his eye isn't really good. I know that if there is any type of colored discharge from their eyes they should seek a vets help because it could be an eye infection. Guinea pigs seem to be prone to eye infections. I've seen them a lot in guinea pigs.
