a worry

My guinea pig is pregnant but its says that when there pregnant they would drink more i have put her in a different cage from the other guineapig friends because she wasnt drink much in there but now she in her new cage she still hasnt drank any thing the water bottle hasent gone down a bit and shes been in there for almost a week.What shall i do ?

Hi Amy.  Get her water!  Use an eye dropper, something, get some water in that piggie.  A week without water can kill a human, much less a pig.  Add a little sugar (1 part sugar to 10 parts water) to entice her to take from a dropper.  Do so very slowly, you don't want to choke her.  Also, buy a new bottle.  That one may be defective.  If the stores around you have it, get a Lixit brand bottle.  They are very popular to exhibitors and usually work quite well.  If not any bottle will do.  Bottom line is get water in that sow one way or another or she's not going to make it.
Sprinkle water on veggies too, whatever her favorite treat, that way she gets water while eating.
