I think theres something wrong with my guinea pig

QUESTION: Hi Mitchell... my 4 and 1/2 month old sow Fudge has been acting sort of weird I guess you could say. I mean like, she's acts normal but I thought she was pregnant for th longest time. She still has a lot of sign but I know she'd be past her due date. Liek in between the 80th and 100th day of pregnancy. Here are her signs:-She eats a lot *more then her brother*-She drinks A LOT ^^^-Her teets are quite large-I don't know about this but I read somewhere if you can feels their bones and what not easily it's a sign *i can feel them VEYR easily on Fudge*-She gets upset when I touch her stomach-she doesn't like to be held-she also hides in her log house a lot-Ive also noticed her laying down more lately-She has been continously gaining weight
I don't think she's pregnant but Im not sure... ALSO she weighs a whopping 1 pound and 9 ounces. Her twin brother Snickers only weighs 1 pound 5 ounces. Im not sure if it's that she doesn't liek to be held and she's just fat. Or could it be that maybe she IS pregnant and is having problems having her baby.

My mom doens't want to have to go to the vet so she's been doing everything to try to show me that Fudge is fine and just really fat. I am still thinking she IS pregnant and can't have her babies for some reason, and Im afraid that if I am right she WILL die soon which scares me A LOT I mean I got her awhile ago and she's "my baby" PLEASE help me out with WHATEVER you can... is she just fat and irridable or pregnant and having trouble? PLEASE HELP ME!

Im very sorry about my time normally i am much better than this but i am so busy latley its just so much work to do
So i am very sorry about this time that you have waited

Ok she amy be just fat are you feeding her more?
ANd she also maybe pregnant
If you gently feel her stomach you may feel smalll lumps that will move and have a heart beat so you will be able to feel that

ANother possibilty is you may have your dates mixed up
she may only be in about week 5-6 of her pregnancy and she was just fat before
also if she is pregnant then they are her brothers babies which is inbreeding and can cause deformities and the death of the mother when she does have babies
because when she goes to have them they will get stuck and she could bleed to death
ALthough this is not common but it can happen

QUESTION: Hi again,

It's ok about your timing and first off I know it was between 8 - 10 weeks because she would have gotten pregnant b4 I got her or withing 2 weeks or so of getting her. Her brother IS NOT the father because I do not keep them in the same cages. I had gotten her a week before him and they fought when I tried to bring them together again. um I mean per say she had small lumps sort of but no heart beat from them. Only heart beat I can feel is hers... Well for all I know there is a heart beat other then hers but hers is so strong I just can't tell... THe "lumps" on her belly are on her sides more and she actually had lost weight for awhile and it's back up a little lower then before but up to 1 pound 8 and 1/2 ounces. She seems to be acting more like herself with her weight back though. Before she'd sit around and be scared now she's running around more... BUT again I think she may possibly BE pregnant but... I know the latest she would have gotten pregnant would be about 2 or 3 weeks AFTER like January 23rd *when I got my first piggy* so either way I believe she would be past due and I know for a fact that she did not get pregnant after that. But it could potentially be her borther who got her pregnant and I only say that because when I was trying to make them friend he mounted quite some but I always tried to get him off quickly, but you never know... again please help and thank u for it

I understand this can be frustrating but are her sides big and are her nipples swallen?

Wait for 2 weeks and if nothing has happened by then then i think that your only other option is to take her to the vet

Just reply back those questions and i then can be able to tell you more information
