Guinea sick w/ hurt leg and w/ mites

Being treated for chewing mites (or lice).  Has broken leg or ankle or strain or sprain. Vet couldn't feel brake, just saw swelling.  Guinea wants to lay on side w/ bad leg up.  She lays and twitches some.  What's that mean?  She's on pain meds.  Makes her drowsy, but still eats and will drink some, but I feed her w/ a dropper for more water and she takes it well, if I put some water w/ juice in it. She's been this way for 1 week.  How long b4 she feels better and how can I help her.  I also put drops in her eyes now for crusty eyes.  Also give her vit c (25 to 50 mgs).  Sorry for the long question...just worried about her.  She's my baby!  Thx, Nancy

Did the vet do an x-ray to find out more about her injury?

It may be the mites. How is she being treated for that? Ivermectin? It sounds like she has several things going on with her. The most pressing thing is you need to get more vit c in her (a healthy pig gets 25-50ngs, you need to double that for a sick pig) and forcefeed her more than just water and juice. She needs food. If she hasn't eaten in a week, her body is already shutting down. The crusty eyes are a sign of URI.

She also needs a safe antibiotic.
