my sisters guinea pig

Question
Hi, yesterday my mom brought my sister's guinea pig outside for some air, but she forgot about it and the guinea pig was left outside for an hour in about 70-80 degrees. It is only about one and a half years old. It has been very still, and not as active as normal. Also, it hasn't been drinking and eats only a little. It's eyes had some *gook* (sorry cant spell) it has layed down a little on its back, but mainly just laying on its stomach. We made a vet appointment for Monday, but today is Saturday and we don't know if it can hang on. What should we do? The poor little innocent girl might be dying inside. Please answer as soon as you can. This guinea pig means everything to my sister and i am willing to do anything to save it. Thank you

Answer
Take a bottle of water and empty it to only 3/4 full, then place in freezer, uncapped. When it is frozen, you can place it in the cage with the guinea pig.

Try getting a small baby bottle with a small nipple and giving her a drink by hand.

Some really wet veggies like celery and lettuce doused in water will help get some moisture into her system.

Other than that, all you can do is hold out till the vet appointment.
