How come it isn'good to breed GPs?

Guinea Pigs are just as over populated as dogs and cats. If you look you can find them in shelters, rescues and pounds all over the US and Candada. This is the main reason you shouldn't breed, by breeding you are adding to the over population and taking homes away from those in shelters.

The other reason is because there is a 20% chance a sow will die or have complications. Many sows give birth to dead babies, many need C-sections and many just can't give birth and will die. There is a chance a sow will give birth to one or more lethals too. There are many more reasons. Please read about breeding at these websites.
