Do guinea pigs look for attention? Can cats and a guinea pig get?

If you only have one guinea pig, it is vital that you give it plenty of attention. Having said that, they don't seek attention in the same way cats or dogs do.

It's best not to let a cat have contact with a guinea pig as it will most likely attack it.
