my guineapig is being put back in her cage with her friend and my guinea pig is pregnant will it be ok for them to be together when she is pregnant and having the baby her frend is really lonley and would like her back in the cage when shes pregnant!?
i read about it in the wild they help each other out when pregnant but i just wanted to ask just incase. thanks

It would be okay to put the two of them in the same cage, but you have to make sure that you have plenty of room for momma and her pups, plus her friend.  The reason for that is that a non-mother guinea pig in the same cage can sometimes (unintentionally) injure the newborn pups.  They might get trampled or chewed, for example.  I personally would leave them separated, but put the two cages next to each other.  That way, they can hang out together, but nothing will happen to the pups.

Oh, and its a good idea to enclose the birthing cage in some sort of VERY small mesh wire.  Pups can get through some surprisingly small holes, and you don't want a 1 hour old baby guinea pig running around your house.
