URGENT POSSIBLE PREGNANCY ISSUE

Question
Hi,
I have a sow who is very pregnant, I expect she is nearing her due date as her pelvis is spread to 1.5-2cm in the past couple of days.
However, i haven't felt her babies move a lot. I used to breed guinea pigs frequently but this have never happened. I felt one move a couple of days ago, but there is much less movement than i am used to, does movement slow closer to birth?
Thanks
Maddy

Answer
Yes, the movement does appear to slow down when delivery is near. I've noticed that many times over the years and just as you are, I worried. Humans often do the same thing, so please just be patient. At this point there's nothing else you could do that would make a difference. So rest easy and let nature do what it does best (even without us).
