My baby guinea pig

Question
Hello , when should I separate my baby male guinea pig apart from his mother ?

Answer
A baby should stay with the mother for at least four weeks. He is not capable of reproduction until he's about three months old, although there are exceptions (rarely).  He needs the nutrition he gets from mother's milk, so it's best to leave him with her for at least a month. Baby girls can stay with mom indefinitely if your space permits.
