sick zig,too skinny

took him to vet they tested him he weighs half pound hes bag bones,hes eating drinking,vet couldn't find anything in his poop,we are leaving for florida tomarrow should i take him?dont wanna trama him away from zag,zag is fine fat,i hafta bring zig back in week,both of them really,is he gonna make it?the vet gave me somenutri cal high calorie diet supplement he likes it 3 to 5 times day,plus his regular diet,does he have virus?please respond i work till 10 pm ill check when i grt home thanx

Have your vet check him for diabetes. Losing weight while eating and drinking normally (or drinking more) usually indicate diabetes. Baby oatmeal is a good way for him to gain weight if it isn't diabetes and he's just underweight and isn't ill. Good luck.
