female separation

Question
This is kind of about pregnancy but more about behavior, so I hope you can help.  I have two females - one that I purchased from the pet store pregnant.  They have been together for the entire pregnancy and I separated them just before the babies were born.  My question is: do you feel it is safe to "reunite" them at some point?  If so, do you think I should wait until they are weaned or longer? Is it possible for them to stop getting along?  I know that she isn't lonely, but they are such social animals I hate to see Lennie all by herself.  Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hi Emily

sorry for the delay in my reply, i have had pc problems.

According to my research its really only males that need to be removed when a female becomes pregnant, so you should be safe to put the other female back now, but keep a careful eye on the behaviour of all involved and if you have any further problems please come back to me.
