guinea pig eyes

What can I do for my guinea pigs eye?  It is pussy and bloody, it also looks like her eye is white, skin over it.  I fear she is blind, but I cannot afford to take her to a vet.  She must have scraped it on something in her cage.

i am afraid you have to take her to the vet. it is very painful for them and they will keep it bleeding as they sratch it becasue it is painful. she needs some eye drops and liquid medicine. some vets are not that expensive and your guinea pig is probably in pain. it would be worth a loan. contact me if you have any more questions. in addition, you can bath her eye in a salt water solution. it will ease the pain for the time being.
