Hi i got BIG problems

hi i have 3 guinea pigs the 2 is about 2 months old and the other 1 is months old they ALWAYS FIGHT!!! plz help before they kill each other...how can they be friends?? i have 2 girls(12 months old and 3 months old) and 1 boy (2 mos old).pls help thnx!!

Hi Brian,

    I am terribly sorry for the delay with this response.  When guinea pigs are pups, it can be very difficult to determine their sex.  I think you may have more than one male,e on your hands, and they are suffering from dominance battles.  The guinea pig who appears to be dominant will terribly raise the stress hormones of the other guinea pig and perhaps kill him, either in battle or from keeping him from the food.  The introduction of a female will worsen this condition, and so if you wish to keep all the guinea pigs together, take the female from the other fighting guinea pigs.
