Question
ok...i'm kinda new with these guys.  i definately have two males about 4 months old.   and i have another guinea pig, not sure of the age, but less than a year old.  i'm not sure if it's a male or female.  but when i introduced it to the males, it started running around, they all were making a purring sound, and they kinda looked like they were wrestling.  what's goin' on?  lol.  i don't want to try and mate them if they're all males....lol

Answer
Hi,
The other guinea pig is probably a girl. They might be trying to mate each other. If they are all males then it's okay. If they try to mate each other they won't have babies. The purring sound is to smell them and for getting ready to mate. Sometimes the female won't except the male, if this happens there is not much you can do.The female will get agressive to the male like kick him, bite him, etc. Seperate the female from the males if she is being mean to them. The boars can fight each other for the female. Seperate the males.I hope this is helpful and don't hesitate to ask me another question.
