Sick Guinea Pigs - urgent

Question
My children started keeping GPs about 3 months ago.  We had 2 and a rabbit.  All seemed to be well.  Then one day we found one dead in the cage - we coudlne work out why - thought he might have got a scare.  So we bought a new one to replace him.  Last week we noticed the other one had stiff back legs and then on the weekend he died - we replaced him.  Then today I notice the replacement for the 1st GP is now not moving as fast and is stiff in the back legs - what are we doing wrong - we feed and water them all the time- we keep an eye on them - the children are becoming more and more upset - by the way the rabbit is now quite big and seems fine. PLEASE ADVISE - I think the 3rd GP might have passed away by morning.

Answer
Hi Jules

It seems very likely that the problem is the rabbit. I presume from your question that the rabbit lives in the same hutch as the piggies?

If this is the case, you need to make sure that any rabbits you have are kept separate from guinea pigs, as, from what you tell me, the rabbit has kicked the pigs and caused them to die.
