Question
What is the life expectancy of Guinea Pigs and also
I would like to know how to know if I have a pedigree
pig. I got my pig through a co-worker and he did not
know much about the background of her breed.

Hi Suzanne

The life expectancy is between 6 to 8 years but they can live to 10 years if well looked after there isnt really any way to tell if your guinea pig is a pedigree unless the person had papers that state it im not sure if you can get a dna test done but i dont worry about that because that can cost alot of money
