Guinea pig ears

My gunea pig, Lucky, has very red ears. I have recently looked at several at pet stores, but they were not nearly as red. Is there anything that could help at a store, or should I ask the vet? What should I do?

What colour is Lucky? Pale and white guinea pigs tend to have pink or white ears, and they are darker on darker piggies. I've never heard of red ears before though; they're not bleeding, are they? Does Lucky seem to be in discomfort? Is there anything else unusual about her ears ... bite marks, knicks, sores etc? If she lives outside, she could be sunburnt.
