strange odor

3 days ago I noticed a strange odor on my piggie. I bathed her and discovered the hair on the front of both her back legs was gone.She is showing no signs of distress or other illness.Today the the odor is back. Do you kow what this is and home remdie or do I need a vet asap! She is about 4 years old. Thank you for your advise Cris

I am not sure what would cause the hair to be gone and there to be a strong smell. It could be many things like a fungus, or bacterial infection or something totally different and with so many possibilities it is good idea to get take her to the vet and have it diagnose. As I said there is just to many possibilities as to what it could be so for her health it would be best to take her to see the vet. I am sorry I couldn't be of more help, but with to many possibilities it is always best to see the vet.
