infection

Question
my guinea pig has been itching constantly.  he is itching off his hair and has started to squeak or squeal out of pain of either not reaching the irritation or that it just hurts him so much.  please help me figure out how to cure him or if there is a spray that i could get that you recommend.  thank you so much.

Hi,
 He might either have mites,lice,flies or even worms.There isn't much you can do to treat this though you can get a special kind of shampoo or just a little of baby shampoo and try to give him a bath. If you want to treat this than go to your nearest pet store and ask them for a type of spray or medication to get rid of  parasites{Mites,lice,fleas}. If you want to make sure that he has parasites than contact your vet, ask him what he might have and get a medication or spray to uliminate them. There aren't any sprays or medications I would recommend so it would be better to ask your vet or your petstore what they might recommend.I hope this was helpful and don't hesitate to ask me any more questions.
