wat shampoo

i have a guinea pig and it really needs a bath ive been reading about bathing them and it says 2 use animal friendly shampoo but i only have dog shampoo is that okay??

Dog shampoo is a little to strong to use on a Guinea Pig. It can dry out the skin of a Guinea Pig, which in turn drys out the hair and so it isn't really good to use for Guinea Pigs. A small animal shampoo is good or even baby shampoo works great. I use the baby shampoo and I think it works better then the small animal shampoo.
