Rufus

Hi. My name is Rachael and my guinea pig Rufus is experiencing swollen, red, and watery eyes. He's close to a year old and has 2 "brothers". This has been going on for a week and I'm not sure what to do. Is there anything I can do at home or should I take him in to see a vet?

Vet definatley, if you do not know what the illness is then you do not know how to treat it, and a cure for one illness might help another get worse. i can only assume that the eye has been damaged or has something stuck in it, if there is gunk or tried stuff around the eye then it is more likly that there is something is stuck inside the eye. i would certainly go to the vet, the sooner the better.
