biting and sex

Question
I have two questions. I have recently gotten my first guinea pigs. I have had them about a month. When I got them I was told they were brothers of the same litter but now one is much larger and is quite obviously a male while the other is several inches shorter weighs less and the maleness is not quite as obvious. How do I know for sure that they are both males? They have been in the same cage the whole time.

Secondly one of them bites. I have read several of your other answers so i know the questions you are asking. There is no problems with the skin. The skin is in very good health and the hair is think and shiny. He bites no matter how I hold him even if I just have him sitting in my lap he will bite my leg or arm or whatever he can reach. He bites hard and brings blood quite often. It is not just around his food dish and I don't think it is because he needs to potty as he will potty and still bite. Even though they both love to try to chew on my jewelry only one of them bites skin. Any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Kelly

Thanks for the information.

In terms of determining the sex, take a look at the link below.

My hunch would be that the biting pig may be female and biting as part of being pregnant. If you find out their sex and let me know the results we can take it from there.
