Question
I have two male uneutered guinea pigs approx 7-8 mths old. They have a large cage and get on great. However today I had to move them into a different cage for a short while as I was rearranging. After about ten minutes in the temp cage one of them started attacking the other. He was jumping on the other and biting him really hard while both were chattering their teeth loudly. I had to seperate them and when I went to pick up the attacker with a towel he started biting the towel really aggressively. What is up with this behavior? I don't want mean guinea pigs!

Answer
Hi Rachel

This simply happens Because they wont to claim dominance over the other one and claim the new cage as there own so thats why they are fighting so aggressively

Put them together again and just see what happens
They should be ok

All the best
