Unidentified Substance in Cage!!! HELP!!!

Hi,

I have a female GP who's about one and a half years old.

There aren't any vers nearby to my place.

My GP seems to have a problem.

Whn I can her cage, on the newspaper that lines the cage, I see these patcehs of orangy red substance, that is mostly dry. I'm not sure if it is pee or blood.

Any idea what it could be?

This has never occured before, and I am worried...

Please help!!!

If you notice that you GP squeeks whilst peeing, it is quite likely that she has a urinary infection, which will need vetinatry treatment.

GP urine can be milky white but shouldn't be the colour you describe.

I am sorry to hear that you don't have a vet near you. Try looking in the telephone directory for pet rescue centres or something like that, as all your GP will need is some antibiotics.

You do need to take action quickly though.
