Question
My classroom guinea pig has a blackened tooth, bottom front. He is still eating his food pellets and drinking, but not eating carrots or other hard veggies. He is eight years old now. What do you recommend?

Answer
Hello!
I apologize for the wait! I forgot to mark myself as 'on vacation'!
One word, Vets! Yep, time to see a vet (if you already haven't) to get a check for fungal infections and over growth. There is nothing you can do yourself I am afraid. I also don't have a diagnoses for you (sorry ;) ).
