I was wondering if my cavy could have grapes, watermelon, or other kinds of fruits for treats every once in a while... Also I heard you can train your piggy... I was wondering how? And for what?

yes you can feed them grapes and water melon, in moderation. id only ever give them a grape once or twice a week as they are not really that good for them, too rich and acidic. water melon is better though again you should avoid giving them too much watery stuff. as a tp on water melon they eat the shell as readily as the flesh, so enjoy the melon then give them the shell, thats actually better for them anyway.

as for training, you can train them to come when you call them, toilet train them (peeing not pooing) training itself it through repition, so saying there name when you feed them, putting soiled sawdust in the place where you want them to pee.
