My guinea pig cant walk on its leg and i don't know what i should do?

Hi Haley,

Is your guinea pig showing any other symptoms? If it's just its leg that seems to be causing a problem, then it is probably just injured. Broken or bruised legs will heal over time but really the best thing you can do is take it to a specialist small animal or exotic pet vet as they will be experienced at dealing with smaller mammals and their little bones.

Holding a leg strangely can be a sign of internal discomfort, so if your piggy seems of its food, in pain, or puffed up then take it to a vet ASAP.

Have you any idea what may have caused the accident?
