Question
Greetings,

I am a gp owner and this is my third piggy. He is very energetic young crazy pig. He runs faster, jumps higher and is happier than any piggy I met before. He is young about a year a little less. Something happened today that scared the living hell out of him. We first thought he was sick, but he is eating like always, hay, food, carrots, he drinks if I bring the water to him, but he will not leave the house all day long. He likes loud noises ussally and when he hears a door slam or something break he actually gets happy. What can I do to encourage him not to be afraid. He likes music, so the radio is on in his room all day long and there are people always around. My gfriend is the one who spends the most time with him, but lately(last few moinths) she has been working from 8 am to 10 pm so could he be lonley or something. The piggy will strech out of the house to get food, but his ass will remain inside at all timea and any thing that did not scare him before, now sends him flying into the house. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to give him his courage back.

Answer
make the food as close as possible to where people hang outt and his house as far away from the food as possible. if you dont already i recommend keeping him in the living room with you, if you're sitting around not making any noise he will be more inclined to come out when youre there especially if you're there alot. also if you have him on you knee and pet him (like a cat) he will learn that youre not going to eat him. also might be worth sitting with him during floor time.
