Is she sick

Question
My guinea pig has white stuff around her eyes
that i didn't notice before and my neighbor either thinks
shes pregnant or sick and i think shes sick. and I don't think its my fault because my mom and I are very good at taking care of animals we have quite a few animals and there all perfectly healthy. please answer back and if you do answer back then thank you.

Dear Hannah,
  You guinea pig probably has an eye infection.  This is caused by a mild injury, a fly- bourne infection, or the presence of snuffles.  The symptoms of this problem are discharge and sometimes bloodshot eyes(but this does not always occur).  To treat your piggy's problem (if you believe this is her problem) is to carefully wash the eye with warm saline, available at the drugstore, wiping away any crusting around the eyelids.  If the condition remains for more than 48 hours, or gets worse, take the pig to the veterinarian.  Don't worry about this being your fault, it happens to pets all the time!  Hope I helped!  Good Luck!
