shedding!!!!

my guinea pig bella is a female and shedding alot!!!!!!! i read this is normal but
one of her ears has no hair!!!!!!!!! when will this shedding stop or will it?????(i
just got her as u can probably tell!)

Shedding isn't normal; unless she's a long-haired breed or it occurs when you're brushing her. Guinea pigs need a diet that is rich in vitamin c to keep their hair in good condition; make sure her dried mix has added vitamin c, and ensure her fresh veggies have a high vitamin c content such as carrots and brocolli.

If she is scratching a lot or you notice any sores, whisk her off to a specialist small animal or exotic pet vet. She could have a skin complaint that needs expert treatment.
