Female Guinea Pig Mounting Male?

We just got a new male guinea pig this week. When introduced to our two female guinea pigs,one of the females tends to mount the male. The females age is approximately 6 months, the male approximately 2-3 months. Any suggestions?

It may sound like like a stupid statement but please make sure that all the genders of the 3 pigs are as you suspect.

Mounting is a sign of establishing dominance even between the sexes so the behaviour isnt abnormal at all and should settle down within a few days.
