my dob will soon have puppies

my question is what do i need to get ready for .. what do i need on hand  . a neighbor said i have to rip open the birth bag open  i thought the mother dose that for her puppies  & i need to clear out the nose of the puppies
its my bitch first time .. i do have a vet that is on call
& said there is nothing to worry about but my neighbor got me thinking ....

Hi. You only need to break the sac if mom doesn't. You'll just have to be there and watch very closely. Go to a store and get a bulb syringe, the kind you use on babies.
