Delivery of 2 puppies

Hi,
My siberian husky delivered two puppies yesterday.  I thought this was a very small litter, and am not sure if she's done.  However, it's been 24 hours.  But her belly still looks quite swollen.

Is it possible she could have more?  And if not, why so few?

Hi Phyllis

The number of pups is in direct relation to how many eggs your female released. She is born with all the eggs she is ever going to produce.

Is she panting, or in distress?  24 hours between pups is very long. Chances are she's done.

It's important to do x-rays prior to whelp so you know what to expect.  The problem is that if a pup is retained it can become toxic and become fatal to the dam.
