is our dog bred?

Our female lab,is just starting to bleed off(begining of heat.)Our Neighbors male dog was neuterd about 4 months ago but I found them fast.Is this possible with a nueterd dog?Is it possible our Dog is bred?

If the male was truly neutered he has no semen so even if he managed to penetrate your female there's no physical possibility of a successful breeding. I would be wary, though, of any other males in the area that may not be neutered so it would be wise to keep her confined for the duration of her cycle. On average this lasts about three weeks but the estrus (fertile) portion usually lasts about 5 or 6 days & generally begins about day 9 or 10 from the initial onset of the cycle.
