Bathing

Wondering how soon the mama can be bathed. Do the pups need the scent of their mom for a few days?

Hi Bill,

The pups know their dam and she her pups so it's safe to bath her anytime.  The warm water will bring her milk down and may be uncomfortable for the dam and you don't want to use a harsh shampoo as she is most likely already losing her coat.  Instead of a full and proper bath, I would give her a "sponge bath" by using a warm, wet face cloth and freshen her up.
