Mating a female yorkie

My yorkie stayed a week with a male breeding, the owner told me they mated several times during the week. I just picked her up on Saturday & today is Monday and she's still bleeding dark red & threw up this morning is this normal?

Hi Ester -- where was she in her cycle?

Chances are if she is still breeding heavy and red she may not have been ready.  Typically when a female is ready the  blood tapers off and is a light pink, almost watermelon color.  

Unless you know for certain when she ovulates, it could be anybody's guess, however, a pregnant female can vomit.
