preggo schnauzer

our schnauzer is pregnant and due the first of the month. she was bred entirely on accident we found out last sat. that she was pregnant. but now she has a strange yellow green discharge around her genitals and has labored breathing. but shes not dilated very much at all. help! I've never gone through this with a small dog before. only medium sized ones

Dogs don't dilate like woman due, so that won't be a good indicator for you.  And small dogs work the same as medium and/or large.

The mucus plug starts to leak 5 - 10 days prior to whelp.  As long as the color isn't black or a blackish / green, there shouldn't be a problem.

Watch for her nesting and to quit eating, those are indicators that whelping should start soon.
