dog humping

hi there my 4 month old puppy just started humping not to long ago. but we are finding that he only mounts my fiancee... i would like to know if this is a dominate thing or if this is abnormal. he never tried to mount me and hump... witch is perfectly fine for me but i would jsut liek to know if this is normal. thanks

You're correct in that it's a behavioral issue. In essence, your puppy is trying to establish his role in the "pack" made up of you, your fiancee & him. When he does this, have your fiancee gently but firmly correct him by pushing him off along with a stern vocal "NO!" Be consistent and persistent. With time & hopefully neutering this behavior will cease.
