hi, i have a 5 year old shitzu and she is a pure breed. the lady said that she
came into heat in August but she did in june. how many times do shit tzu's
come into heat a year? we saw she was bleeding and figured we wanted some
puppies so we took her to see a male shitzu. the did there thing but she was
very mean and tried to attack the other dog, is that normal? and they didn't
do it very long, how do we know she's pregnught? and when is the best time
to get her pregnught?

Hi. What day of her cycle did you breed her on? It could be that it was too early, or late. The best time to try is on days 11 and 13, or on days 12 and 14. If they didn't tie, and it wasn't the right time to be bred, then she most likely isn't pregnant.
