My American bulldog had pups HELP

My American bulldog had her 1st litter of puppies 7 days ago. She had 9 and only 7 are still alive. She feeds them once a day, and she wants nothing to do with 1 of them. She wont feed the poor guy, or nothing. So when I went to rescue him and to feed him, she growled at me. What should I do?

Hi. At 7 days of age, they have to be fed every 3-4 hours, or they will die. If mom doesn't want to do it, then you will. Get some bottles and formula and feed them yourself, just remember to 'poop' the puppies by gently rubbing a damp cotton ball over their private areas. As for the one she won't mess with at all, wait until she goes outside to potty, and then take the puppy. Sometimes, they sense that something's wrong with them that we can't see. Get him away from mom, then check him over really good. Check to see if he's cold. Sometimes if a pup's body temp lowers, mom won't mess with it and if you bring his body temp back up, she may accept him back. Keep him warm, never feed a chilled puppy, warm him up first. Check his mouth to see if he has a cleft pallet. Good luck, let me know if I can help with anything else.
